We now have a second "hand-made" map on WSH. As you can see from the title, I have called it "Camp Assault".
Again, it is a relatively simple map, small in size, and requiring team-effort to win. It is a small POW camp, in which the allies have 10 minutes to take 1 area: The barracks. By taking the barracks, it is simulating that the allies have "rescued" the prisoners. The axis? Well it's simple. They must fend off the allies and keep them from "freeing the prisoners".
The allies have at their disposal, 2 trees in which they can snipe from, a mortar which targets the open area of the compound just outside their spawn and in front of the barracks, several bushes for cover to aid them as they advance on the compound, and 4 points in which to enter the compound. The first is the "main gate", a wide but open area to enter the compound. There are 2 are "holes" in the fences covered by bushes, and a small standard entry gate at the far end of the compound.
The axis? They have barracks itself to provide ample coverage to ward-off the allies. They may hold up inside the barracks to ward off the allies, they may take cover below the barracks in the crawl space for cover, or they may even utilize the rooftop of the barracks for cover. Additionally, in the forefront of the compound they have a tower.
And for both sides, on the outside of the compound fence at the far end of the camp is a parked tank which can provide cover for either parties.
10-minutes. 1 Objective. 5 Seconds to cap the flag.
Use your smoke grenades to help provide advancing cover upon the camp. Your grenades may even prove useful in clearing the area around the tank, and even under the barracks. An MG may prove to be useful as well.
One more note. You can take the objective either by entering directly into the barracks and holding it for 5 seconds, or by the crawl space below the barracks as well (provided of course, that there are no axis inside the barracks themselves - axis on the rooftop will not stop affect the allies taking the objective).
Teamwork will be essential to either take the barracks or fend-off the opposition.
Here's some screenies for you:
