(this can be taken as any of you want to take it, its not ment to be harsh, just my openion)
The reason this place is "dead" as you guys stated is because there is no loyalty in this game. Everyone jumped ship and ran over to the OFS boards thinking that it would be a better place. In time that board too will die off (no offense Jump). Im not trying to be mean in saying that but if you look at how many boards we all have been apart and how many of them no longer exsist it just seems like the path is set out already. Just about every DoD 1.3 board does, only a few people actually stay around.
Now I like JumpG he is a rather nice guy considering we actually met the man and had a great time with a few nice conversations (it was rather crappy that we couldnt get together again this year), not to mention the others around here that have either grown on me or I actually liked from the beginning. It would be a boring game with out them.
So to get back to the point....yeah its dead here right now but who knows what this place will do in the next month or so. All you can do is wait or delete the address from your favorites.

Baah, no worries Trin! I don't offend easily and what you're saying is basically right. Besides...I like ya too much!
I still foresee a group of like minded players made up from folks just like all of us who hang out, play and gab on a forum and NOT wearing a tag!
I know some couldn't bear not being affiliated with some group or another but clan scrims and tournaments are in reality all but dead in 1.3. And tags and clans just seem to eventually poop out, stagnate and cause strife among the members.
Winter will indeed bring back the crowds and if we're smart and we truly enjoy all playing together we'll work to create a server or go into an existing one and just have a bit of fun!
By the way...the show was on again off again but went off in an scaled down version. Not as good as last year I heard.
I couldn't wait for them to make up their minds as I needed to commit to another matter before they'd made a decision. It would have been nice to see you and Hodge and Lux again! Maybe next year!

Bah! Nay sayers and doom peddlers. We're just as happy go lucky as ever. We're just keeping it on the downlow.
