Our Visit with Jump

We went to see Jump this afternoon and I have to say I had fun.
I didnt think it would be as fun as it was but hey I got to ride in a big truck...hehehe
and the lil demos they had on warfare was cool too.

And yes both me and Hodgie got to hold the bar so NA NANA NA!!!

Just got home and am whipped!!!

It was pretty cool to actually meet someone from the server and the AAMO gang!

I though it best to shove the BAR into Hodgies hands as he was anxiously eyeing the Thompson on the wall and he literally OWNS my butt (as well as most of us) with that gun! His brother has the German MG 34. We have an M1 Garand sniper rifle but not Trin's "03" Springfield from the game or I'd have posed her with it aiming at the camera. We've all been in her sights before!

Here's some more shots from the show. German and American mortar pits, The MG42 (Ha, notice the spade shovel, we've all been whacked by that baby a few times!). And Trin's "big trucks". I think Hodgie had previously had his fill of these big trucks but went along for the ride! He's a good sport!

Hey thanks Trin for the nice pictures, gives me shiver just looking at somes guns in there, not use to that ouffff I'll stick with the game only I'm also happy to put a face on you guys, now it will be fun to kick some assssss in here hihihi!

Im not one to jump out in frount of any camera but I had to take a pic with Jump and holding that BAR....and might I say that thing was heavy even without the pod...and I did learn a few things.
I think the next time they are set up in Alliance were going to take the kids, I think my 10 year old would have had a blast.

Ok, Trin..if I got on front of the camera it shouldn't have been a big deal for you!! My daughter saw the photos and said I looked like a sunburned bloated corpse!! Yeah, she loves me! I am pretty cooked from three days in the sun and the remnants from the heat stroke and serious lack of rest has left me pretty screwed up! looking at the pic I can see my face is swollen. I'm old and ugly but that's extreme!!!!

I managed to take two photos the whole weekend and that's of a US half-track that I restored and painted for a guy who added the guns etc. and brought it out to show me. I'll post that tonight when I get in. Thing were busy and people have lots of questions
and I jump on every WWII vet that comes through for stories and just to thank them for their service. Then, when it's all over it takes hours to tear down, load guns and tonight..I get to clean probably 30-40 weapons!! HOORAY !!! Oh well, it's my life and I wouldn't trade it! Jump
