I change all my computer because the other one did the same thing one morning decided not to open anymore, nothing, niet, thought it was the motherboard or the CPU so, thought it was time to change anyways, but now dammit a new system? I change everythings.... Yess i check my power bar, I tried it on Fardoche plugs, his, is working fine so it's not the problem here The only things I think is that the power supplies is not strong enough , the guy said it was border line could that be So please if you smart guys have any idea here let me know cause , I need the pleasure to last longer here ON MY COMPUTER

Usually when mine won't powerup I unplug all unnecessary components from the motherboard and try it again. Disconnect harddrive, floppy, cdrom. Reseat the CPU, ram, power supply and video card connections. Try to start it.

So when you turn it on, do any fans spin up or led lights turn on? We need more info. I imagine you're at one of these three states
- no power at all
- power but no post
- posting but no video
not likely, but do you have a telephone line hooked directly into a modem port? On the same note, do you run your network cable through your power bar or direct to you network port?
I ask these two questions because electrical surges are still a very real problem in some (usually more rural) areas.
What else. Hmmmm
Did you put it together or did they do it at the place you bought it?
I'm leaning towards the board shorting out but I definately need to know more. The Devil is in the details as they say.

Humm, When I first open it this morning the fan and hard disk ran like 2 sec and then shot off everythings, we disconnect the cd burner thinking it was maybe to much asking but gnaaa still did'nt work, we also plugg it on fardoche side his is working fine with the connection but mine is'nt , what else we tested my hard disk on his computer it's fine and we format it too. All the other parts are new. My connection is a cable going through our modem and we have the router for our 3 computer , they other 2 computer are fine!!! they only thing we did'nt try is plugging Fardoche computer on my side , but hey he does'nt want no kidding. Can't be the power bar cause it would work on Fardoche side so, I think the best thing will be to bring it back where I got my pieces and get it check and hope that they will find the problem! We've been buying our stuffs there for a while, and the owner knows us , don't think he will screew us with all the explanations he's been telling us so far but ...
Anyways I let you guys know when we get the aswer till then I'll share again with Fardoche hihi
Could a bad virus do that

No not a virus, especially if you reformatted the HD.
If it's a new CPU, RAM, and Motherboard, check that the spacers are set correctly, if the motherboard is touching the case at all that would do it.
A good way to check to make sure the new stuff is working, take the motherboard out of your case and set it on a static free/non metal surface (the box the motherboard cam in would be fine).
Have nothing extra plugged into the motherboard (if the motherboard has a built in video chipset then disconnect your video card as well.
Plug the power supply, RAM, and vid-card (if needed) into the motherboard with the CPU.
Plug in your monitor and keyboard
Then take a demagnetized screwdriver (or paperclip would work) and "Jump" the computer by making a connection to the two power nodes on the motherboard (check the Motherboards manual, it's the two that you plug in the power button on the case)
If it doesn't start then it's your motherboard or CPU.
If the computer runs the start screen then it's one of the peripherals or the case.
I'd go from there by putting it in the case, try starting it, then work your way through everything else one by one with a boot in-between.
Or easiest thing would be to take it all over to the guy who you know and ask him to piece it together and give it a start at his place.

Thanks for all your help, it's gone back to the store. I think for $45.00 it's worth getting it check since it's still brand new hopefuly the warranty will cover it !

Now we know who the big nerds are. Professor Buldge and Beek. Just as I suspected.
