Finally snagged one eh?! Is there currently a dash in the jeep or must you install the one from the photo? That'd be a chore! Solid frame is the main thing, place to install a winch...seems like a good find! There's no end to parts and add on web sites! Have fun! Reminds me, I have a few projects to get moving on! Here is his Grand daddy! It is a CJ also.

Yeah I don't think it has a dash based on the pictures. I guess I'll find out tomorrow when I pick it up. Long drive though 8 hours one way. UP is 55mph once I get pass the bridge.

Voice of experience here...
Take more tie down straps, etc. than you think you need!!!!!
That basically goes for anything else, tools, etc. wood wedge blocks.
I take it your trailering it?

Not having seen it, it looks like that dash is the outer cowl and the floorboards!
Beek, if I were you and the dash itself was the only thing missing, I'd consider fabricating my own dash board out of wood or sheet metal or something and just inserting the instruments. Unless, that cowl/dash piece will replace the fiberglass body counterpart. I believe that body will be one piece though. Not sure you could swap that out. Even the floorboards will most likely be fiberglass, you could not weld it!
Got a digital camera? Take pics and keep us posted.
I keep looking at the pics and seeing more stuff...make sure your windshield pins from the fiberglass body to the other dash match so you can switch them, if you switch them.

It's a far cry from this one I have to work on!! Wow good luck on that one. For the dash I was just looking at pricing on aluminum plate. I'm a cnc mfg. engineer, so I could cut out the holes ect at work.

They are holding tanks for chemicals. These tanks were used in a baking soda factory. They are round in shape with cone shaped bottoms. Made of 304 stainless steel in good shape..........
