FPS countdown

I recently went on a server and this FPS countdown got in my screen showing FPS 60%
in: 0 0.00/ks
out: 0 0.00/ks
loss:0 choke:0
Does someone knows what the hell is this, how it got there and how to remove it, unless it's usefull???
I was told that it's usefull to increase precision ? I don't understand so if you can help me please I would appreciate it .

ah ok I understand now.

If you go into the console by pressing the ~ key. type in "net_graph 3" without the quotes and it should go away.

I was about to say thanks your a sweetheart, but i went to try and it did work lolll :-/i'll still wait if you have any other idea.

By the way do you know where I can get all the meanings of the console code ? like stopsound and others ?
I know it's a lot asking hihihi but ...

I know, I'm about 7 decades late on this. But, in my defense, I'm new here (come on board since this was posted), and secondly Tassy did ask for this. Besides, some johnny-come-lately newbie may have the same question later.

Please note, that some may be game specific and I don't know if it's inclusive of both Half-Life and Half-Life2 (I don't have Half-Life2 at present so there may be new commands in it for all I know).
