Hopefully this thread will never have to be used, but if anyone witnesses a player using excessive foul language, TK'ing people, hacking, cheating, or causing any other sorts of problems for others, let us know here. Try and get as much info as possible so we can determine if a permanent ban is in order.
Information needed:
1. Time and date of offense
2. Players name
3. Players Steam ID (type status in your console - ID should look similar to STEAM_0:0:1234567)
4. Reason for reporting

Ok, just so everyone is aware. There was a guy on the server around 12:00 am (7/15) named Internet]["hug"
He was being annoying and causing trouble with the other players on the server. He was warned and kicked.
He came back on and started telling racist jokes so I banned him. I think it did it permanently which is fine with me, but I also think it may be in part to antagonism. So it's up to you Dave if you want to unban him that's fine, he just needs to be watched if he comes back in.
I tried to record it, but I can't seem to get this to work.

Well if he was causing trouble and problems for everyone, it's most likely that he'll keep doing that in the future. Maybe even more so now because he was kicked and banned.
There could be a time that he would do that when there isn't an admin on the server and drive good players away. With thousands of other servers he can play on and us wanting to keep our server fun and friendly, I don't think there'd be a problem in keeping him banned for the time being.

I guess the other question then is : To spec or not to spec? It's nice to be able to record a demo and catch the guy in action, I'd hate to ban someone incorrectly. Although I always laugh on other servers when I go spec and suddenly the amazingly skilled player can't hit a thing  ) There must be some reasons against it since only about 20-30% of servers allow it. |

There was a kid on the other day who changed his name to aamo also. I changed it back with the amx_nick command. I'll look through the stats to see if it was the same one.

He really wasn't disruptive and I never got the feeling he was pushing himself off as AAMO.
He was trying to get Tassy to follow him around the map.
I kind of felt he may have been one of us. Never felt the need to question him though.

Almost banned a player today - by the name of Unknown (Predatuer) Steam_0:1:4944495 - he kept spawn killing TazyBaby then left before the ban - we need to watch everyone when she is on some guys are saying very inappropriate things to a 16 year old

We(Out of AAMO a.k.a the regulars  ) know him...he is harmless, even if he is annoying. He has a little cruch on tazy... Unless she says other wise maybe a warning would be better. But in the end you'll know what to do. |
