I know Dave never wanted to compete with them after he started this server and I know nobody here ever went there advertising TOD unless asked where we'd been.
Maybe Atomic or Brush can ask if we can leave a note on their boards announcing that there are many TLO players on the TOD
server and we'd love to have them here.

Wow, TLO was one of my all time favs. Almost always a good time playing no frills DoD I'm too depressed now so I guess I need a drink  |

On the subject of advertising on TLO Boards and to clear things up... Go ahead and post away - that's what they're there for...the rule over there was you can advertise on TLO boards ...just not "in game" Plugging your server, clan, web site etc in game would make for a quick trip to ban-hood...
A big misunderstanding over there was we were out to get people and this was never the case. I mean we had set rules over there and enforced them to make the DoD experience fun for everyone....

HangFire and TLO admin: I'd ask that you do not hesitate to offer suggestions on the forum that might better either the TOD server or the forums. You guys have a lot of experience and I know when Dave gets back up and running he'll be anxious to talk at you! Glad you're around!

Just came back from the TLO forums and found out they were switching, well I guess all good things come to an end.
This means I will have to start earning props all over again ...
Well seems to have a lot of old timers who followed here, that's a good thing 'cause I am not gonna run around to try and find a new place to call home, I guess I already found it !
